Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born on December 19, 1986. Her native country is Canada. She has done several movies in Hollywood. Her most well-known work is playing the character Alexis Rose in the CBC TV sitcom Schitt's creek. The show which began in the year 2015 and ended in 2020. Her performance received high praise from the critics, and she received an award called the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa Ontario Canada. She is the child of two school teachers. Elmwood School was her first selection for school in Ottawa and where she took part in various stage productions. She then enrolled at Concordia University, where her diploma was in theatre performance. She then took lessons in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory from where she learned the art of acting. She moved into Los Angeles in her early twenties and pursued acting. In 2007 Annie Murphy started off her acting career and began her career in the crime-thriller television film named Lethal Obsession.
