She's covered sports for some of the most prominent media around the globe. The time she worked at The Washington Post was spent covering several Olympics, Grand Slam Tennis as well as basketball and football. In 2004 Nichols moved on to ESPN for nine years where she won 2 Emmy Awards and appeared on several of the network's top frequented shows such as SportsCenter as well as NFL Countdown.
