Summer glau

Firefly, Whedon's new hit show, grew out of one-off episodes. In Summer Glau's role, River Tam was a complicated role that Glau did well. In the role of Tam, the character was enticed into government-sponsored experiments where she was trained to be the ultimate assassin. In the end, the capacity of Tam to regulate her mood was stripped from her. Glau's fighting skills were also shown in the show Firefly. The fact that she was learning to be an assassin gave Glau to make the most of her athletic abilities. Summer Glau was classically-trained as dancer. The talent she displays in her dancing also include studies in tango and flamenco however it was her broken toe which ended her dance career. Firefly was only on for the duration of one episode, but had a large fanbase. Whedon returned to the show many years later. Summer Glau, however, was still receiving top-quality work. The actress has been featured on tv shows such as Cold Case or CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
